An Educational Magazine for Philosophy of Education & Values Education<\/span><\/p>

DISKURSO is the educational magazine of the Philosophy of Education and Values Education Programs of the University of the Philippines Diliman. It aims to expand and deepen awareness on matters concerning education in the local and global contexts. It covers a wide array of topics ranging from pedagogical goals, content, and practices, and tackles issues in philosophy of education and other areas of education. It further introduces philosophy as an educational tool that can be used in addressing special or enduring problems in education.<\/p>

DISKURSO also accepts contributions under the following categories:\u00a0<\/p>

  1. Philosophy of Education Articles,<\/li>
  2. Education Essays,<\/li>
  3. Young Thinkers,<\/li>
  4. Book Reviews,<\/li>
  5. Answers to or Critiques of Previously Published Submissions, and<\/li>
  6. Philosophical Creatives (poetry, short story, film review, etc.)<\/li><\/ol>

    Submissions in MS Word format must be sent to philoed.upd@up.edu.ph with the subject, \u201cFOR DISKURSO.\u201d Articles should not be more than 1,500 words. A submission may or may not include a high definition photo of the author. A bio-note of not more than 40 words is required.<\/p>
